Our fees

We are a private practice and we do not routinely bulk bill.

A standard consult in the surgery during office hours costs $69 if paid on the day.

Long consults are available on request. Long consults (20 minutes or longer), costs $126 and will attract an account keeping fee of $10.00 if not paid on the day of the consultation.

Pensioners are charged a $17.80 fee. Those on Health Care Cards are given a discount. Surgical procedures and wound dressing attract an extra fee.

We prefer payment by credit card or EFTPOS.  Please note that all private cheques will incur an extra charge.

We would greatly appreciate if you could settle your account on the day of consultation. All accounts must be settled within 7 days

Scripts, referrals and other forms, when not written during a consultation, will be charged a $12.00 fee. Authority scripts attract a $15.00 fee. It is always helpful if you remember to ask for your repeat scripts at the time of your normal consultation.

On departure from your appointment, could you please attend the front desk before leaving this surgery, this minimises mistakes with your account. For example; if the practice does not know if you hold a Health Care or Pensioner's Card, you may be charged full price.

Late cancellations or missed appointments will incur a non-attendance fee.
